PST detects thousands of different graphical patterns, classifies their important features, and compares them to a pre-learned reference database. The algorithm can handle various sizes of graphics that are rotated 360° in any direction under partial occlusion or variable illumination conditions. The graphics classification tool algorithm can cover a wide range of object detection, high repeatability and high reliability, and its performance is among the best in the market. PST tools can be used for in-plant logistics applications such as packaging, outer box or pallet content inspection, or for production processes such as identifying and positioning plastic bags or film packaging products (such as pasta, potato chips, frozen foods and fresh cheese).
